The Underground Supper Club

Supper clubs might be popping up all over London,  but one is truly setting the wheels in motion for “underground dining”.

The Basement Galley Supper club created by head chef Alex Cooper, has come a long way since its start in a Brixton flat. Combining exceptional food, interesting people and unusual locations, the intimate dining experiences create unique events around the capital. In celebration of the Underground’s 150th birthday, The supper club  invites guests to embark upon an “Underground Dining”  journey in an 1967 Victoria Line tube carriage stationed at the Walthamstow Pumphouse Transport Museum.

Set to be notably more pleasant then a rush hour  commute to work where eye contact and conversation is a public transport tabu, the supper club invites guests to not only tuck into good food but leave with more friends than you came with and get to know fellow diners.

In addition to the quirky location, The Underground Supperclub also boasts delights of a six-course taster menu including dishes such as Duck & Cherry Terrine , Watermelon & Tequila Sobert and their trademark fizzy G&T jelly. With the carriage  no longer in use, there is no need to top up your Oystercard. Instead, to gain a seat you must purchase an ‘off-peak single from starter to dessert’ costing £37 per person.

Spaces don’t stretch far and the next event on 25th May is already sold out. Fortunately other six dates are avaialable due to overwhelming popularity. Click here to grab your ticket before it sells out completely!
